CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At 09:15 on August 16th, after 48 minutes of flight, an Airbus A320 Passenger Plane landed in Chongqing Wushan Airport, which indicates Wushan Airport made its maiden flight successfully.
Wushan Airport, with an altitude of 1,771.48m, is the highest civil airport in Chongqing and the well-known airport “built in the clouds”.
This airport, which stands on the top of a mountain, made its maiden flight on August 16th. The maiden flight, operated by China Express, took off from Jiangbei International Airport at 08:27 and landed at Wushan Airport at 09:15 after 48 minutes, which means that tourists in main urban districts can arrive in Wushan in 50 minutes by air.
