Chongqing media recently conducted an advanced exploration of 5G ecological construction of SCE 2019. It’s said that over 200 base stations have been constructed in Chongqing, which can cover all the venues of the expo and set 5G application demonstration zones in Yuelai, Jiefangbei and Nanping. To better serve SCE 2019, Chongqing Communications Administration has led basic enterprises to construct more than 200 5G base stations in Chongqing International Expo Center. 5G network covers exhibition halls of Chongqing International Expo Center, like the Central Entrance Hall, Central Hall, North-south Entrance Hall and some major halls, like Yuelai International Convention Center and Yuelai Wyndham Hotel. In addition, 5G base stations are set up in Departure Hall, Arrival Hall, Check-in Area and other areas of T3 of Jiangbei International Airport, so that guests attending SCE 2019 can feel the charm of 5G network as soon as they arrive in Chongqing.

In SCE 2019, Chongqing Telecom, Chongqing Mobile, Chongqing Unicom and Chongqing Tower will build a complete 5G experience scene in S5 Hall in the center to improve the combination of 5G and other cutting-edge technologies and people’s lives. At that time, people can experience a series of 5G applications, like unmanned vehicles, 5G communication and remote driving.
