Photos exhibition showing Nan’an history

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The photo exhibition related to old buildings with the theme of "Century of Vicissitudes" has been opened at Longmenhao Old Street, Nan’an District, showing nearly 200 images to reflect the natural scenery and historical culture of Nan’an from different views and periods.

The exhibition will last for two months and is divided into four parts: Port Opening in Chongqing, Longmen Development, Anti-Japanese War History, and Old Buildings Appreciation, showing Nan’an history, old buildings and humanity from multiple angles and levels.

The Anti-Japanese War sites in Nan'an District are mainly distributed along Nanshan and Nanbin Road. Longmenhao Old Street, with a history of 100 years, is the most well-preserved and largest historic and cultural street in the main urban areas of Chongqing, including 18 historic and cultural relics. The culture of port opening, culture of anti-Japanese war, Bayu culture and wharf culture have built the cultural base for the whole old street. (Translated by Jiang Yuling, Fathom Language Limited)
