Take a smart bus via scanning your hand

There is a very cute bus with a pair of round “ears”, “dark-eye” headlights, "nose", "mouth", and black-and-white “body”. It really looks like a panda.

It’s called as the Panda Smart Bus equipped with intelligent driving technology, hand-vein recognition system, voice interaction, vehicle-mounted robots, passenger abnormal behavior monitoring, intelligent escape emergency processing system and other "advanced technologies". It is expected to be put into operation in the Chongqing Economic and Technological Development Zone within this year.

It's very convenient to take the panda bus via scanning your hand. That means you don’t need to pay bus fee by the traditional payment method – bus card and cash. After inputting the hand information on the designed App and accessing your payment account, you can take the bus via scanning your hand, because it can automatically deduct the bus fee after perceiving your hand information.

In the middle of the Bus, there's a cabinet looking like a vending machine with some drinks and food. It is capable of accurately identifying goods 360 degrees through cameras. You can buy goods by yourself as long as you scan your hands. There is without other operations after taking out the goods because the system will automatically deduct the fee.

Based on the intelligent system and various probes inside and outside the vehicle, the bus can make full use of automatic driving technology to help the driver to make an automatic driving on the planned bus route. In case of emergencies, it will automatically slow down, safely avoid or pull over.

Different shopping experience in unmanned supermarket

In the experiential zone, the red sign of JD unmanned supermarket is particularly noticeable.

On-site staff said that the unmanned supermarket was open for the whole day without cashier in the store. Customers only need to scan the QR code to enter the supermarket and directly leave with goods you took. It adopts gravity sensing + visual recognition technology. All shelves are equipped with gravity sensing system and the goods selected by you can be automatically identified; visual sensors can track the goods taken and put back by you to update the price produced from the goods, so that the fees will be automatically deducted from the your electronic wallet after you leave the supermarket.

What’s more, the supermarkets can analyze users’ characteristics and purchase preferences. Cameras installed inside and outside the store can be used to analyze how many people there are, as well as their age and gender. For example, if there are 90% women outside the store and 10% women inside the store, it shows that women may lose interest in the store, so the managers can adjust the variety to attract users. In addition, in-store cameras can collect users’ behavior and analyze the area of users staying the most to increase the number of popular goods or goods with higher gross profit rate.

More 5G products

There are also a number of 5G products in the experience zone.

In China Mobile's exhibition area, the reporter saw the comparison diagram of downloading speed between 4G and 5G mobile phones in the same starting point - the speed of 4G was 32.12 Mbps/s while that of 5G was 863.4 Mbps/s.

Moreover, on the 5G caravan of China Mobile in the outdoor square, you can play with 5G Janken robot, 5G underwater machine, 5G UAV, VR Jiefangbei and other projects. For example, you can control the submarine through 5G network to perform underwater navigation, scientific investigation, rescue and other tasks; can take part in a finger-guessing game with Janken robot; can experience the real scene of Jiefangbei through the fantastic image of VR Jiefangbei without personally visiting it.

In China Telecom’s exhibition area, its studio has attracted lots of people. Through it, the scene of the studio hall can be restored in a virtual way, the people can achieve a dream of being a host and the scene can be watched in a real-time way.

Out-of-field experience zone of China Intelligent Valley includes China Intelligent Valley (Chongqing) Science Park Exhibition Hall officially showed on August 26 and Intelligent Technology Experience Zone.
