KIEV, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Danylyuk and visiting U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton have discussed bilateral cooperation in the area of security, according to the NSDC's website on Tuesday.

"Our cooperation opens many perspectives for both countries," said Danylyuk. The previous meeting between the two officials was held in Washington last month.

Bolton's visit will last till Thursday, according to the Interfax Ukraine News Agency. And the details of his visit agenda are not disclosed.
