CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- You may easily find a 24-hour convenience store, but have you ever tried 24-hour self-service libraries? Recently, Chongqing Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, Chongqing Geographic Information and Remote Sensing Application Center released Map of the Study of Chongqing, with five 24-hour self-service libraries in Yubei District on the list.

The "24-hour self-service library" is a new measure to promote the nation-wide reading in Yubei District, which adopts the mode of government leading and social unit participating. The five 24-hour self-service libraries on the list include Tongsheng Road Community Branch, Konggang Xincheng Square Stop, Anshulin Stop, Longji Square Stop and Airport Square Stop. The 24-hour self-service library has also realized "borrowing and returning" with the Chongqing Library, Yubei Library and other libraries in the nine main urban districts of Chongqing, and handled the borrowing and returning nearby.

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Yubei District will build about 10 or 20 24-hour self-service libraries in densely populated public places and communities, create a 15-minute cultural circle in Yubei and improve the accessibility of public cultural services.
