CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The countryside of Bayu is as beautiful as a picture. Now it's in early autumn, the weather is not so hot and it's good time to travel.

Mountaineering, staying in a farmhouse, picking fruits, admiring historical sites... This place is called Yunwuping. It has all kinds of tricks and can be driven for more than an hour. Located at the junction of Jiangjin and Yongchuan, it belongs to the Yunwushan Mountains with a forest coverage of over 80%.

In early autumn, it's pretty good to come here to have a relax.

Shisun Mountain

The two highest peaks in Yunwuping are Male and Female Shisun Mountains, which are over 700 meters above sea level.

Liu Yuxi wrote in the inscription of the shanty room, "Mountain is not high, there are immortals are named", and it is said that it is also written in this place! Hidden in the mountains of the ancient temple, from a distance, Guanyin Hall can be seen in the clouds.

Kongque Lake

Through a narrow goat-intestine path, a gemstone-like lake is set in the middle of the Male and Female Shisun Mountains. The lake is named Kongque Lake because its color is like Peacock Blue.

Walking by the sparkling lake, the breeze blew and the grass fragrance came. Although it is a mountain, in such a quiet and peaceful environment, only pastoral songs and quiet years are in mind.

Near Peacock Lake, there are a lot of farmer houses, mostly hidden in the forest, with green hills on three sides and clear water on one pool.

At noon, you can eat here while enjoying the magnificent scenery of Kongque Lake. It is cheaper to consume at Shisun Mountain and you can have a good meal with cheap price.

Cultural relics

The top of Yunwuping Peak is flat and open, but it is surrounded by cliffs. Because of the dangerous terrain, it has always been a military important place for soldiers to contend for.

In ancient times, Yunwuping built high walls to resist banditry. There were four walls: Dazhai Gate, Renren Gate, Fenzhai Gate and Xiwumen. There were streets, shops, private schools, peasant households and good fields in the walls.

Although the past is no longer brilliant, leaving only some broken walls, but we can still stand in the corner to feel the echo of history.

Public transport:

(1)Railway: Take the Chongqing-Neijiang train at Caiyuanba Railway Station. You can not go back and forth on that day. It is suggested to have a two-day tour.
