CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the reporter learned from Chongqing Metro Group that the Haixialu - Erlang Section of Loop Line project has entered the stage of non-passenger trial operation.

According to Chongqing Metro, the purpose of non-passenger trial operation is to verify the stability, safety and reliability of the system equipment, including signals, vehicle, power supply, communications, gate pass, etc. It lays groundwork for official trial operation.

The whole section is 9.5 kilometers long, with 5 stations including Xiejiawan Station, Olympic Sports Center Station, Chenjiaping Station, Caiyunhu Station and Erlang Station.

According to the schedule, the Haixialu - Erlang Section will be open to the public at the end of this year. After opening, it will be connected to the northeast half of the Ring Line (Chongqing Library - Chongqing North Station South Square - Haixialu) which opened last year.
