CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Leisure footpaths, wetland parks...It’s learned from Shapingba District that many projects such as Shabin Road Revetment Landscape Project, Qingshuixi Leisure Wetland Park and Stage III of Shaci footpath will start construction at the end of September. In the future, Chongqing people can take a leisure walk in these new places.

Shabin Road Revetment Landscape Project

It’s learned that the Shabin Road Revetment Landscape Project has a total area of about 112,000 square meters and a construction period of 120 days. The main construction include the greening filed of the Jialing River CRT Loop Line Bridge and the greening field of the Gaojiahuayuan Bridge hillside filed. After the project is completed, the overall landscape effect of Shabin Road will be greatly improved.

Shaci Footpath Phase III Refurbishment Project

The Phase III of the Shaci Footpath project is located in Tongjiaqiao Street and Ciqikou Street in Shapingba District. It starts at Lingyun Road, along Tongjiaqiao Zhengjie Street and Zhuangzhi Road, and ends at Baigongguan Parking Lot. The project will upgrade its greening along the 5.6 km footpath, and the construction period is about 120 days. After the project completes, it will effectively connect the three scenic spots of Ciqikou, Zhazidong and Baigongguan to enhance the supporting infrastructure of the Grand Scenic Area.

Qingshuixi Wetland Leisure Park

Qingshuixi Wetland Park is located at the section of the road along the Xiluqiao of Shapingba District to the section of Qingshui along the Yanggongqiao to Yupei Road. The construction period is 80 days. The main construction includes landscape engineering, landscaping greening, and other supporting facilities.

Rensheng Road Footpath Reconstruction Project

The project is located in Tongjiaqiao Street and Gele Mountain Town of Shapingba District, starting from the Gele Mountain Cableway and ending at Gele Mountain Forest Park, with a total length of about 1.2 kilometers.
