“Civil Memory” Exhibition held on September 19 at Chongqing Jianchuan Museum

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- “Civil Memory” Exhibition themed by “On the Way to Good – on the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China” was held at Chongqing Jianchuan Museum.

More than 3700 photos and nearly 3000 articles were exhibited. Themed by the development history of the People’s Republic of China, from 1949 to 2019, a theme was decided for each year and the exhibition unit was set by years. Great achievements made in the past 70 years were exhibited from the view of civil memory.

In the exhibition hall rebuilt from air-raid shelter, we could see photos and articles recorded the 1950s of Chongqing.

From the images of the previous Dazu Rock Carvings - Reclining Buddha and former site of Chongqing Office of the Eighth Route Army, we could see the development of culture construction in Chongqing.

Fan Jianchuan, the head of the museum, said that exhibition by years could clearly show the development of China and people could learn better and love China more.
