CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The night scene of Chongqing Grand Theatre has become more beautiful! According to Jiangbei Urban Management Bureau, the dismantling, repairing and reconstruction engineering of LED on the south side of Chongqing Grand Theatre has been completed recently. At night, people can see a larger and more beautiful “background board” of outer wall and watch the excellent scenery together with Raffles City and Hongyadong.

Nearly 3,000-square-meter landscape lighting added 

The landscape lighting of the Theatre was upgraded and reconstructed in 2016, which is lighted up with lights of 9 buildings of Jiangbeizui, becoming the “leading dancer” of Jiangbeizui lighting show. 

Although the night scene of the Theatre is charming, the damage of LED of the south glass curtain has affected the entire visual effect.

In order to solve this problem, after full research, the relevant responsible group finally decided to conduct the demolition, repair and reconstruction of LED screens on the south side.

The project will remove the damaged LED display screen on the south side and repair it according to the landscape lighting device on existing glass curtain wall and nearly 3,000 square meters of landscape lighting will be added.

The whole project will last more than one month. At present, the LED screen on the south side has been removed, and more than 20,000 RGB color-changing LED point light sources have been installed in the original position. With the existing lighting installation mode as a reference, they are evenly arranged according to the lattice mode.

Better “background” for taking photos 

Now, the lighting linkage debugging is under progress to ensure the new lights coordinate with the original ones. At night, over 260,000 RGB color-changing LED point light sources will lighten the Theatre, colorful and dreamlike.

With the upgrade of lighting, the Theatre has more attractive points.

First, seeing from Hongyadong opposite, you can enjoy more complete light show.

Second, the transparent glass curtain walls of the Theatre will reflect the night scene of Hongyadong. 

Third, when taking photos in front of the outer wall of the theatre, you may find the “background board” is larger and more beautiful.

Fourth, when standing beside the new lighting curtain and watching the high buildings of Jiangbeizui, you can enjoy the curtain light and light of buildings enhance each other's beauty.
