BEIJING, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) -- Procuratorial agencies in China handled more than 15,000 cases of administrative litigation supervision by the end of August, up 70 percent from the same period last year, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said at a press conference Wednesday.

More than half of the cases involved litigants appealing against judgments, over 700 cases were filed to probe illegal judging activities and over 6,900 cases involved enforcement supervision, according to the SPP.

The SPP has released several guiding cases and six typical administrative supervision cases for the procuratorial agencies to improve the supervision of administrative litigation.
