CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the six-day 2019 Chongqing International Fashion Week ended in Rongchang Grass Linen Town, Chongqing. With the theme of "prosperity", the grand show was the grass linen non-cultural heritage show by Zhang Yichao, a famous fashion designer and promotional ambassador of China's textile heritage. It demonstrated the beauty of design and creation art and fashion of Rongchang's three national heritages, and celebrated the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China.

At the closing ceremony, 66 sets of creative costumes designed by Zhang Yichao, a famous Chinese fashion designer and promotional ambassador of Chinese textile industry, were displayed. The work was a combination of her of creative essence of Rongchang grass linen, to build a foothold in traditional Chinese culture, carrying the genes of civilization, into the contemporary creative thinking of a piece of colorful clothes, and showing the contemporary fashion designers’ traditional and fashion organic combination of intangible heritage activation inheritance.

With the theme of "landscape city and fashion capital" and the cultural environment of Chongqing as the background, 2019 Chongqing International Fashion Week selected the landmark buildings of the history and culture of Chongqing and the most beautiful landscape show as the launching site of the fashion week. The Fashion Week’s collection of China's top clothing design master works, revealed China's outstanding clothing fashion creative design, exquisite skills and excellent cultural essence.
