CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- As the National Day holiday approaches, Chongqingxi Railway Station will see the peak passenger flow. Recently, Chongqing Traffic Bureau released information that during the National Day holiday, measures like increasing transport capacity and extending operation of rail transits will be implemented, so as to guarantee passengers’ travel at Chongqingxi Railway Station.

Public bus: 18 bus routes are open and 65 buses have been reserved for emergency.

During the holiday, Chongqingxi Railway Station will open 18 bus routes, including Bus 213, Daxuecheng Special Bus, Bus 226, Bus 441, Bus 415, Bus 499, Bus 473, Airport Express Bus K06, Bus 325, Bus 526, Bus G01, Bus G07, Bus G09, Bus G02, Bus T033, Bus T166, Bus T118 and Bus T115. A total of 200 public buses will be put into operation, and 65 buses are reserved for emergency.

Chongqing Traffic Bureau said that passengers can arrive at Chongqing Jiangbei Airport, Jiefangbei, Chongqingbei Railway Station, University Town, Jiulongpo, Nanping and other places through the above bus routes.

In addition, emergency evacuation bus routes at night from Chongqingxi Railway Station to Shapingba, Gaomiaocun, Baguocheng and Jiefangbei will be open to ensure that passengers arriving at Chongqingxi Railway Station by the last train can leave the station, which will stop operation 20 minutes after the last train arrives.

Bus train: Chongqingxi Railway Station will open 11 pairs of bus trains to Chongqingbei Railway Station.

There are 11 pairs of bus trains running from Chongqingxi Railway Station to Chongqingbei Railway Station from 8:11 to 23:00. Passengers can arrive at Chongqingbei Railway Station in 23 minutes, making passengers’ travel to Jiangbei and Yubei Districts more convenient.

In addition, passengers who need to transfer trains after arriving at Chongqingbei Railway Station can directly take convenient transfer elevators on both sides without getting out of the station and going through the security check again.

Rail transit: Operation of some rail transits’ last train is extended to 23:00.

By optimizing the layout of public transport vehicles, passengers from Chongqingxi Railway Station can take Bus 499 to Dadukou Station, Bus 213 to Shapingba Station, Bus 473 to Gaomiaocun Station, Bus 325 Shiqiaopu Station, and Bus 226 to Chongqing Library Station of Loop Line.

To further meet passengers’ travel needs at night, on September 30, October 1, October 6 and October 7, the last rail service time of Line 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10 and Loop Line will be prolonged to 23:00, and the running time is 6:30 to 23:00. The running time of Line 4 remains unchanged.

After the time extension, the last trains’ running time at Dadukou Station of Line 2 is 23:36 (toward Yudong) and 23:22 (toward Jiaochangkou), the last trains’ running time at Shapingba Station of Line 1 is 23:28 (toward Xiaoshizi) and 23:26 (toward Jiandingpo), the last trains’ running time at Gaomiaocun Station of Line 1 is 23:34 (toward Xiaoshizi) and 23:20 (toward Jiandingpo), the last rail trains’ running time at Shiqiaopu Station of Line 1 is 23:36 (toward Xiaoshizi) and 23:18 (toward Jiandingpo) and the last trains’ running time for Chongqing Library of Loop Line is 23:00.
