CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 7, the Chongqing University Museum opened in Huxi Campus and held the “Chinese Classical Plastic Art Exhibition”.

Chongqing University Museum is divided into Central Hall, East Hall and West hall. The "Chinese Classical Plastic Art Exhibition" held on that day displayed more than 400 pieces of Buddha statues, jades, bronzes and other exhibits.

On the walls of the exhibition hall, there were also text descriptions and diagrams that systematically introduce the history of bronze ware, the process of making jade, and the meanings of various decorative patterns, which fully showed the development vein of Chinese classical plastic art and the charm of traditional culture.

"One of the necessary conditions for building a double-top university is that the university should have a museum." The relevant person in charge of Chongqing University introduced that the Chongqing University Museum met with teachers and students on the occasion of the university's 90th anniversary through many links such as venue construction and cultural relics exhibition preparation. "In the future, we will build more than 20,000 square meters of new museum sites and put some exhibits reflecting the achievements of teaching and scientific research in our university."
