CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the “Belt and Road” Invitational Tournament and National Relay Elite Race was held in Fuling Olympic Center. More than 280 athletes from 13 countries and regions such as Mongolia, South Korea, Liberia and 10 domestic provinces and cities gathered for the fierce competition.

As an event designed to promote the development of athletics and promote friendly exchanges and interaction between "Belt and Road" countries, the competition consisted of more than 15 events such as 100 meters, 5,000 meters, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, high jump, long jump, women: 100 meters, 1500 meters, 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, pole vault; men's and women's 4x100, 4x200 mixed relay. In addition, one of the highlights of this competition was to set up the competition items of the public group, which can let more athletics fans participate in it. It is worth mentioning that Chongqing team won the first place in the 4x100 mixed relay competition.

The “Belt and Road” Invitational Tournament and National Relay Elite Race held in Fuling is another high-level athletics event hosted by our city after the Asian Athletics Grand Prix.
