A century-old building hidden in the city

The building, which added some foreign flavor to the Jiefangbei Business Circle, is actually the former site of the China-UK Liaison Office. After years of restoration, it has finally regained its former elegance.

After The Founding of the People's Republic of China, it has become the office of relevant government departments. In 2013, this three-story building with an existing building area of more than 1000 square meters was listed as one of the former sites of the diplomatic agency of the league in Chongqing and the Seventh Batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.

A new cultural space worth visiting

After the renovation and opening of the former site of the China-UK Liaison Office, the interior decoration is quite exquisite. The chandelier with a sense of age, French carving, colonnade and ivory paint wall seem to allow people to touch the past and present life of this building.

It is a must-go place which allows you to overview the whole Jiefangbei in a manner of 360 degree.

In order to let people know more about the history of the building, three rooms were specially opened in the old site to simulate the office scenes of the China-UK Liaison Office, including offices and meeting rooms.

Every floor of the small building has an L-shaped corridor, and now it has been equipped with unique tables and chairs. People can sit here for rest and tea after visiting.
