BEIJING, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- A 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolted Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of northwest China's Gansu Province, at 1:56 a.m. Monday Beijing Time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).

The epicenter was monitored at 35.10 degrees north latitude and 102.69 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 km, the center said.
