Scene of Dayu

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 26, Dayu, a large-scale 3D acrobatic drama created by Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe for five years, was performed in Chongqing International Circus.

With the theme of "Dayu Taming the Flood", the acrobatic drama Dayu integrated many ancient myths, took acrobatics as the core means of expression, supplemented by music, dance and other forms, and brought the audience the experience of ancient times with the perfect integration of 3D technology. Stories such as "The Legend of Husband-Gazing Stone", "Nvwa Patching the Sky" and "Passing by home for several times without Entering" are presented in Dayu. The perfect integration of 3D technology and acrobatics has truly restored the scenes of flood, monster invasion, disaster and destruction.

"In the case that most theaters were only equipped with one holographic projection device, we have bought six 3D holographic projection devices specifically to make the whole stage stereoscopic." Tang Ronghua, deputy head of Chongqing Acrobatic Art Troupe said.

Huge steel eight-shaped wheels rolled in the middle of the stage, with acrobats running, jumping and even blindfolded on the moving wheels like walking on the ground.
