CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- One of the most memorable pleasures for old Chongqing people is to enjoy the chrysanthemum exhibition in Eling Park! The Eling Park Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Eling Park, Yuzhong District has been officially launched. More than 70,000 pots of chrysanthemum included about 100 varieties, most of which were flown from Kaifeng, Henan Province, the hometown of chrysanthemum. The exhibition will last until November 25th and be open to the public for free.

According to the relevant person in charge of Eling Park, it was a very high-grade autumn appreciation activity to visit the Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Eling Park in the memory of old Chongqing people. There were 41 Chrysanthemum Exhibitions being held in Eling park. After 2004, the Chrysanthemum Exhibition in Eling Park was closed for some reasons, and it has been suspended for 15 years. For this reason, it took Eling Park more than half a year to prepare for the 2019 Chrysanthemum Exhibition.

The theme of Eling Park Autumn Chrysanthemum Exhibition in 2019 is "Chrysanthemum Ocean, Bayu Culture". The exhibition is mainly composed of four main exhibition areas and two small exhibition points, including four main exhibition areas of Ancient Charm among Mountains and Rivers, Fine Chrysanthemum Gathering in Yuzhong, Looking for Friends through High Mountains and Flowing Water, Sichuan Opera Changing Face of National Essence, two small exhibition areas, like Dongli Autumn Charm and Chrysanthemum Charm, as well as several series of small nodes along the way.

The exhibition also combines chrysanthemum plastic arts with traditional Bayu culture to create unique regional characteristics. For example, the chrysanthemum shape the scenes of Chuanjiang Haozi (a kind of chants of the trackers) and Sichuan Opera Face Changing. In addition, the former site of the Turkish Legation in the park is the venue of the fine Chrysanthemum Exhibition. There are about 80 varieties of chrysanthemum with traditional cultivation techniques, such as colorful chrysanthemum, sixteen-headed chrysanthemum and one-headed chrysanthemum.

The main attractions of this exhibition covers an area of about 1500 square meters, with a total flower display of more than 70,000 basins, including about 100 chrysanthemum varieties. The exhibition is also decorated with chrysanthemum, chrysanthemum ball, chrysanthemum peacock, cliff chrysanthemum, chrysanthemum bonsai and others. In addition, considering the scenic spots around the park in series, a number of small nodes are placed along the road from the cultural and creative park of the second factory to the park, effectively extending the strong atmosphere of the TESTBED 2.

Highlights of the exhibition

The first main exhibition area: Ancient charm among mountains and rivers

The exhibition area is located in the entrance square of the park. The main shape is made of chrysanthemum, sedum and other plant materials, which were cut into mountains and boats. The waterfall effect is created by the running water mist, and the chrysanthemum flower belt is used as a metaphor of the running water; the rope of the boat puller was made by the light belt, with the light and shadow flowing at night, full of rhythm. Chuanjiang Haozi (a kind of chants of the trackers) comes from the landscape, evoking people's memories of the past.

The second main exhibition area: Fine chrysanthemum gathering in Yuzhong

The exhibition area is located in the main entrance square of Exiang Villa. The exhibition area is decorated with large phoenix tail shape, with white wall and black tile as the main shape, forming a "Fine Chrysanthemum Exhibition" sign, meaning "Phoenix Tweeting in the Sky, Fine Chrysanthemum Exhibition". The Turkish Legation located in the Art Flowers Garden beside the exhibition area is the site of the exhibition.

The third main exhibition area: Looking for Friends through High Mountains and Flowing Water

The exhibition area is located in the Eling Monument Area, a landmark scenic spot in the park. The main modeling is based on the Eling Monument and ancient trees. The scene is composed of a statue of an old man playing the piano and a flowing rockery. The meaning of "Looking for Friends through High Mountains and Flowing Water" is very traditional.

The fourth main exhibition area: Sichuan Opera Changing Face of National Essence

The exhibition area is located in the Lawn Area of Liangjianglou. The theme of the design is the face culture of Sichuan Opera, and the main body of the design is the drama characters of plant cutting. The face was driven by the content of the face, forming different face shapes. At the same time, combined with the night view of Liangjianglou, the exhibition area is also designed with night view lights for tourists to appreciate.
