Wild mandarin ducks fly to Shanwangping

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On October 29, wild mandarin ducks were playing and flying above the Yuquan River, Shanwangping Town, Nanchuan District. Mandarin duck is a national second-class protected animal. It is very picky about the water quality of its habitat. It moves from the north to the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in winter every year. Since last year, there have been wild mandarin ducks living around Yuquan River in winter, the number of which has increased from 10 to more than 50 this year.
