CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- There are wooden cooking pot, bamboo leaf electric fan, bamboo bluetooth speaker, stone plate... When the countryside meets designers, there will present an art feast. Recently, the opening ceremony of the first stop of the National Art Foundation's 2019 communication and financing project "Design Involved In Targeted Poverty Alleviation Case Exhibition" was held in the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. The exhibition was divided into five parts, telling the story of China's design poverty alleviation from the perspective of contemporary design.

In the "Thing · Road" section, many designers fully explored local customs through intangible cultural heritage poverty alleviation, so as to activate traditional cultural resources with "new" design ideas. The electric fan woven by bamboo leaves, the bluetooth speaker made of bamboo, the stone dinner plate and so on, made these local scenery rejuvenate, just like a fine art.

There were measure pole, iron scissors, iron pliers axe and so on. In addition to exquisite works of art, you could also witness the construction process of traditional village houses. "In the way of design intervention, we have carried out in-depth excavation and arrangement of materials, structures, working methods, tools, processes, customs, etc. in the construction of traditional Chinese rural houses." According to the responsible person of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, the exhibition was a collection of traditional construction tools, making scene models, cooperating with interactive experience and other ways, using materialized forms and visual language to show the technological wisdom of building traditional Chinese rural houses.
