Foreign styled houses can be visited

The former site of the Spanish Legation was formerly known as the Lu Lankan’s Residence, which was called the Spanish Villa. It was once a summer villa built by Wang Daixi in 1928. During the Anti Japanese War, the Spanish Legation moved to Chongqing to set up an office. It is now Nanshan Botanical Garden Museum.

The former site of the Indian Commissioner's Office is a Chinese and western building. The main building is two-story structured. The walls were made of blue bricks. The front and left side of the house are surrounded by cylindrical pillars. It is now Nanshan Botanical Garden Library.

The former building of the French Embassy was two-storey brick and stone structured with a corridor. In May 1940, it was funded by the French embassy in China. In 1941, the Consulate in Yuzhong District was bombed by Japanese planes and moved to Nanshan Mountain until the end of the war of resistance against Japanese aggression. It is now the Nanshan Botanical Garden Specimen Exhibition.

The former site of the Soviet Embassy, an imitating Gothic architecture was a private residence of Zhu Xingmen, a businessman. In 1939, the building was bought as the new Embassy of the Soviet Union after the bombing of the Embassy in Pipa Mountain, Yuzhong District. (Translated by Luo Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
