CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- At the end of October, the transformation of Xiejiawan Park, located next to Xiejiawan Interchange, Jiulongpo District, was completed. The theme of the park is "Begonia in Spring". Nearly ten varieties of begonia were planted here. Next spring, the garden will be full of flowers.

According to the overall plan of Jiulongpo District Urban Management Bureau to "Add Green and Build Parks" in the whole district, this year, Xiejiawan Green Administration has improved the quality of Xiejiawan Park. The reconstruction area is about 5,000 square meters. By combing and transplanting the original plants in the park, nearly ten varieties of begonia trees, such as papaya begonia, malus begonia and chaenomeles begonia, have been added. The park will be built into the theme park of "Begonia in Spring", adding flowers and colors to the disordered park. In addition, the park has also newly laid a fitness paths, added leisure corridors, leisure kiosks, etc.

This year, the project will build or reconstruct 15 new parks, with a total area of 690,000 square meters. At present, seven parks have been completed, with a new green area of 610,000 square meters. The remaining eight parks will be completed by the end of the year.
