Recently, the press conference of the 28th World Memory Championships China Final authorized by the World Memory Sports Council and Asia Pacific Memory Sports Council was held and the most popular memory championships will be held in Chongqing for the first time.

It is known that the World Memory Championships is a global high-level memory competition. Every year, it attracts thousands of contestants from more than 30 countries around the world, which is known as the "Olympics of Memory Sports". The contestants in the competition constantly break the highest level of human memory and the new record can be included into the Guinness Word Record without verification. Many participants of programs like Super Brian and Challenge the Impossible were contestants of World Memory Championships. The China final held in Chongqing for the first time will let more Chongqing people know and participate in memory sports.

More than 800 contestants from over 30 provinces and cities will participate in the competition which is the biggest one with most participants since the event was held. Chongqing player Zhang Xingrong, winner of the championship of China Final last year is expected to continue to finish in the top three.

The people present took turns to give out a total of 80 figures without thinking and after a few minutes of memory, she recited the figures backwards correctly.
