CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Last weekend, the SHISEIDO Cup of China ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2019 ended in Chongqing. The Chinese team performed well in the three-day competition, winning 2 gold medals. It’s the first time for Chongqing people enjoying a world-class figure skating competition within Chongqing and their professional attitude and enthusiasm impressed every competitor.

Competitors for Men’s Single of Chinese team performed well. Jin Boyang won the first place with a total of 261.53 points after a steady performance, and Yan Han won the second place with 249.45 points, indicating that Chinese athletes swept the Men’s Single. After the competition, Jin Boyang and Yan Han both said they would aim for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and continue to improve their state to add luster to the ice sports of China.

Another gold medal of China team is from the traditional advantage project - Pair Skating. The two-term world champion Sui Wenjing and Han Cong, with 80.90 points for the high score, completed a short program, refreshing the personal short program points under the new rules. Plusing the 147.47 points of free skating, they won the first place with absolute advantage with the final result of 228.37 points.
