The “Snow Spirit - Ice and Snow Paintings Joint Exhibition” held

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The “Snow Spirit - Ice and Snow Paintings Joint Exhibition” opened at the Art Gallery of the Chongqing Federation of Literary and Art Circles. This exhibition was the National Art Foundation's communication and promotion project in 2019. The exhibition is displaying more than 100 paintings of four artists, namely Li Bing, Feng Qing, Mu Ruibiao and Ma Chengliang.

The quiet and peaceful Snow Spirit, the interesting Flying Dragon of Snow Mountain, the Soft Light and Mist Color in solitude, and the Snow Implication Map with thousands of implications... In the exhibition, the reporter of Chongqing Daily saw masterpieces of traditional Chinese painting with long-standing and fine brushwork, and the exquisite oil paintings with clear colors and magnificent momentum.

The exhibition was presented in the form of a dialogue between oil painting and traditional Chinese painting. It started from three dimensions of Chinese and Western painting, ice and snow landscape and Winter Olympic culture. It showed the vivid ice and snow world with different artistic techniques from the East and the West, reflecting the spirit of Winter Olympic. Li Bing is one of the important representatives of Chinese Ice and Snow Landscape Painting. Feng Qing is known as "the first person of Chinese Ice and Snow Oil Painting". Mu Ruibiao is the successor of Sun Wenbo, Lu Zhixue, Zhang Fuxing, Man Weiqi, etc. Ma Chengliang is now a painter of Shenyang Palace Museum. As the most representative artists in Chinese Ice and Snow Painting, they actively promote Winter Olympic Ice and Snow Culture with their own brush and ink, and help Beijing Winter Olympic Games with ice and snow painting exhibition.

The “Snow Spirit - Ice and Snow Paintings Joint Exhibition” held the opening ceremony of the first exhibition in the China Millennium Monument in Beijing on April 13, 2019, and were exhibited in Xi'an, Taiyuan and other places.
