Students' division of national youth vocational skills contest concludes
HANGZHOU, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- The students' division of the 15th national youth vocational skills contest concluded Monday in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province.
Co-organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, this year's contest saw a students' division for the first time.
A total of 263 contestants who advanced from preliminary rounds across the country competed in four categories, including programming, electrical engineering, lathing and benchwork.
A job fair featuring 51 enterprises also took place during the four-day finals of the division, which saw over 200 letters of intent inked with the contestants.
Launched in 2005, the contest has been held annually and is a first-class national contest.
