A reporter of Chongqing Morning Post recently learned from Chongqing Development and Reform Commission that the mountain city footpath connecting Yuzhong District and Shapingba District is called Banshanya Line Footpath. The construction of the footpath is planned to be started on December 1 and completed on September 30 next year. During the construction, the ground footpath, elevated trestle and landscape platform will be built or reconstructed, and the landscape greening, toilet and post station will be optimized to provide a good place for citizens and tourists.

It connects 30 cultural resource points of 5 Parks

The Banshanya Line footpath is located in Yuzhong District and Shapingba District, with a total length of 28.7km, including 12.1km for the main line and 16.6km for the branch line.

What are the places worth going to after the completion of the footpath? The Banshanya Line Footpath mainly connects five parks in Yuzhong District and Shapingba District, including Hutouyan Park, Fotuguan Park, Eling Park, Liziba Park and Pingdingshan Cultural Park, and 30 cultural resource points. After the completion of the project, a walking system with Chongqing characteristics will be built to effectively connect tourism and cultural resources along the line.
