According to Hainan Airlines, the company will start to operate a direct flight route from Chongqing to Budapest since December 27, 2019. The route will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, with two flights to and fro every Monday and Friday.

Hainan Airlines chooses the Boeing 787-9 to operate the Chongqing － Budapest route. The business class is equipped with 180-degree reclining seats, Bose noise reduction earphones and Clarins toiletries. The whole class is equipped with exclusive entertainment on demand system and delicious food of the east and the west, and the use of portable electronic equipment (PED) on board has been opened. At present, Chongqing direct flight route to Budapest has opened the ticket booking channel.

Hainan Airlines continues opening international routes from Chongqing.
