CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- New progress has been made in the construction of Phase II of Line 10. According to Qixinggang Station Project Department, Phase II of Line 10 of China Railway Tunnel Group, at present, Qixinggang Station has entered the second lining construction of the main structure, which is expected to be completed next year. In the future, it can transfer to Qixinggang Station of Line 1.

From Exit 2 of Qixinggang Station of Line 1 to the direction of Pipashan Back Street, the construction of Qixinggang Station, Phase II of Line 10 is stepping up. It is an underground station, down through Line 1, as well as Shihuang Tunnel.

The station is an interchange station. After completion, it can transfer to Qixinggang Station of Line 1. The person in charge said that a transfer channel about 200 meters long will be built between the two stations, with two escalators to facilitate passengers’ transfer.

In addition, two new entrances and exits will be built at Qixinggang Station, Phase II of Line 10, respectively leading to Pipa Mountain Park, Robinson Square and Linhua Road. (Translated by Luo Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
