CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The 1st Chongqing · Changshou Lake 2020 Spring Festival Lantern Festival has opened. The Changshou Lake has been decorated gorgeous by beautiful lanterns in the night, with a strong flavor of celebrating the upcoming new year and Spring Festival. 

With the theme of Changshou history, culture and modern development, this event shows the Changshou folk customs, urban life and people character. It will be lasted for more than 70 days, covering three major holidays of New Year's Day, Spring Festival and Lantern Festival. Over 170 groups of lighting sets are on display in an area of more than 1,000mu and along 4km route. It is mainly divided into three theme areas: Blessing Area, Amusement Area and Culture Area.

The colored lantern conveys the flavor of celebrating the Spring Festival in the Blessing Area; the technological, fashionable and artistic lighting sets create a popular gathering place with joy, passion, romance, special on-water theme and a sense of science and technology in the Amusement Area; and "happiness and longevity" cultural lighting sets are set with the local characteristics of Changshou District in the Culture Area.

Tourists walk along the Changshou Lake in the night, as if entering into a beautiful and dreamlike lighting and shadowing space with lifelike flowers, birds, fish and trees. It is unique that Changshou scenic spots are presented and Changshou history is showed by these lightings in the event.

Train (CRH): Chongqingbei Railway Station - Changshoubei Railway Station – transfer to Bus 109 - Changshou Qi’an Station - transfer to Changshouhu regular bus - Changshouhu Turntable - walk for 200m.

Chongqing-Wanzhou high-speed railway (CHSR): Chongqingbei Railway Station Changshouhu Station - transfer to a midi-bus in the station – Changshouhu Turntable

Long-distance bus: Hongqihegou Bus Station - Changshou Qi’an Station - transfer to Changshouhu regular bus (rolling departure) – Changshouhu Turntable - walk for 200m
