Strictly controlled areas

Yuzhong: Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Chaotianmen Square, Hongyadong and Times Paradise Walk

Jiangbei: Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, the 9th Street, Likely Wharf and Jiangbeizui

Shapingba: Three Gorges Square, Sunblock, Daxuecheng and Ciqikou

Jiulongpo: Yangjiaping Pedestrian Street and MIXC

Nan’an: Naping Pedestrian Street, Nanbin Road, Landmark Riverside and Huangjueya Old Street

Strict control measures

1.From 10:00 on December 24th and 25th, 2019 to 2:00 a.m. of December 26th, vehicles are prohibited to park in strictly controlled parking space.

2.From 10:00 on December 24th and 25th, 2019 to 2:00 a.m. of December 26th, strict traffic control measures will be taken according to the traffic conditions of the controlled areas and surrounding roads to restrict vehicle access.

3.On December 24th and 25th, 2019, all trucks with passes in the main urban areas are prohibited to pass the above strictly controlled areas and sections from 16:00 to 2:00 a.m. of December 26th, and trucks without passes are prohibited to pass the above strictly controlled areas and sections from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. of December 26th.

4.From 18:00 on December 24th and 25th, 2019 to 2:00 a.m. of December 26th, temporary parking of vehicles is prohibited in the commercial parking lots (garages) of Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, Hongyadong and Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street in Yuzhong District.

5.From 19:00 on December 24th and 25th, 2019, the number of buses entering Yuzhong Business Circle, Jiangbei Business Circle, Shapingba Business District, Jiulongpo Business Circle and Nan’an Business Circle shall be controlled by reduction.

6.From 20:00 on December 24th and 25th, 2019, vehicles and personnel are not allowed to pass Dongshuimen Bridge, Qiansimen Bridge to the direction of Yuzhong District. Vehicles other than public transport (empty vehicles) are not allowed to pass Lianglukou, the interchange of Yihaoqiao, the north end of the Yangtze River Bridge, the interchange of Kaixuan Road, and the lower entrance of Mianhua Street to the direction of Jiefangbei.

Traffic control for Chongqing Rail Transit

From 20:00 on December 24th and 25th, from 19:00 on December 31st,

Line 1 won’t stop at Xiaoshizi Station, Jiaochangkou Station, Qixinggang Station, Lianglukou Station of Yuzhong District, and Xiaolongkan Station, Shapingba Station of Shapingba District.

Line 2 won’t stop at Jiaochangkou Station, Linjiangmen Station of Yuzhong District.

Line 3 won’t stop at Lianglukou Station of Yuzhong District, and Huaxinjie Station, Guanyinqiao Station, Hongqihegou Station of Jiangbei District.

Line 6 won’t stop at Xiaoshizi Station of Yuzhong District, Grand Theater Station, Jiangbeicheng Station, Hongqihegou Station of Jiangbei District, and Shangxinjie Station of Nan’an District.

Loop Line won’t stop at Shapingba Station of Shapingba District and Shangxinjie Station of Nan’an District.
