The “Come to the countryside to make friends - Luo Zhongli: Children’s Workshop of Art History Exhibition” was held in the Art Museum of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

Parents accompanied their children to appreciate Luo Zhongli’s country paintings.

The children were inspired by the themes, forms and colors in Luo Zhongli’s works and use comprehensive materials to design “masks”.

In the activity of the day, the children looked at the farmhouses, heaps, streams, cattle and sheep on the paintings, and the rural children who enjoyed playing. It seemed that they were making friends with each other across the screen, and they also crossed into the painting: Enjoy the fascinating local flavor together.

The instructor guided children through the paintings.

“Mask” designed and made by children themselves

According to the organizer, it’s hard for children to imagine what the fields they used to play in when their parents were children. Their way of playing has changed from snails and grasshoppers to an iPad. This kind of activity is not only to improve children’s appreciation of art, but also to bring them to find the long lost local flavor and experience the rich and colorful life.
