BEIJING, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- China Philharmonic Orchestra (CPO) will stage a New Year's concert at Poly Theater in Beijing on Dec. 31.

The concert will feature a series of classics by musicians like Tchaikovsky and Shostakovich, and Chinese music popular in the past seven decades.

The CPO will mark the 20th anniversary of its founding in 2020.
