CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Municipal Transportation Bureau recently announced that in order to facilitate public travel, from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020, during weekends and holidays, some rail transit and bus lines in the main urban areas will extend the night operating hours.

It’s understood that the holidays include New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, Tomb-sweeping Festival, Labor Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day.

The operating time of the last train of CRT to be extended to 23:00 except Line 4 and International Expo Branch Line of Line 6

According to Chongqing Municipal Transportation Bureau, no change will be arranged for Line 4 and International Expo Branch Line of Line 6, and the operation time of other lines will be adjusted.

The departure time of last trains of Line 2, Line 5, Line 6 (excluding International Expo Branch Line) and Line 10 will be extended to 23:00, covering the starting stations at both ends.

The departure time of the last train from Xiaoshizi to Jiandingpo Section of Line 1 will be extended to 23:00, and the departure time of the last train from Jiandingpo to Bishan Section is 22:30.

The departure time of the last train from Chongqing Library to Haixialu of Loop Line will be extended to 23:00, and the departure time of the last train from Haixialu to Erlang Section is 22:30.

The conventional last train of Line 3 departs respectively from Yudong Station and Jiangbei Airport Station at 22:30, and the last train of the north extension section departs respectively from Bijin Station and Jurenba Station at 22:30. During the period of 22:30-23:00, Line 3 (excluding the north extension section) extends the operation time by means of partial return air on-board passengers, and the train operates from the starting station to the depot access station section.

Six bus lines of 5 business circles in the main urban areas are extended to 23:00 for shift closing

During the period of delayed shift closing of rail transit, bus lines in some important business circles and scenic areas will extend the operating hours synchronously.

In Jiefangbei, Guanyinqiao, Nanping, Shapingba, and Yangjiaping, the closing time of 6 bus lines including Bus No. 10, Bus No. 321, Bus No. 462, Bus No. 476, Bus No. 503, and Bus No. 871 will be extended to 23:00. Details are as follows:

Bus No. 10: The route is Ciqijie － Lijiatuo Bus Station. The shift closing time is extended from 22:10 to 23:00, and the operation time is extended for 50 minutes.

Bus No. 321: The route is Ciqijie － Qunhuilu, Danzishi. The shift closing time is extended from 22:30 to 23:00, and the operation time is extended for 30 minutes.

Bus No. 462: The route is Chongqing University － Jiefangbei. The shift closing time is extended from 21:00 to 23:00, and the operation time is extended for 2 hours. During the extended period, the shuttle bus from Jiefangbei － Daping will be opened.

Bus No. 476: The route is Xiaoshangpin, Xiaoshizi － Kowloon Waterfront Plaza. The shift closing time is extended from 22:00 to 23:00, and the operation time is extended for 1 hour. During the extended period, the shuttle bus from Jiefangbei － Daping will be opened.

Bus 503: The route is Tongxing Junction Station － Changbin Road 9th Wharf. The shift closing time is extended from 19:50 to 23:00, and the operation time is extended for 3 hours and 10 minutes.
