CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Good news! The latest news about the opening of Jiandingpo － Bishan Section of Line 1 and the southwest half ring of Loop Line concerned by citizens is coming. According to Chongqing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban Rural Development, at 14:00 on December 30, the Jiandingpo － Bishan Section of Line 1 and the southwest half ring of Loop Line were put into trial operation, with the operation time of 6:30-22:30 and the minimum driving interval of 3 minutes.

It only takes you 5 minutes from Bishan to Daxuecheng

The Jiandingpo － Bishan Section of Line 1 starts from Jiandingpo Station of Line 1, crosses Jinyun Mountain, and ends at Bishan Station of Bishan District, where Bishan Vehicle Base is set up. The total length of the line is 6km, which is connected with Line 1 for operation.

The Jiandingpo － Bishan Section was put into trial operation at 14:00 on December 30, with the operation time of 6:30-22:30 and the minimum driving interval of 3 minutes. So far, it only takes 5 minutes to take the rail from Bishan to Daxuecheng and about half an hour to the business circles of the main urban areas of Chongqing.

Five stations are opened in the southwest half ring of Loop Line

The southwest half ring (Haixialu － Erlang) of Loop Line was also put into trial operation at 14:00 on December 30. The Loop Line Project is the only closed Loop Line in Chongqing rail transit network. The southwest half ring (Haixialu － Erlang) of Loop Line is 10km long, and stations are Xiejiawan Station, Olympic Sports Center Station, Chenjiaping Station, Caiyunhu Station and Erlang Station. After the opening, it will be connected with the northeast half ring (Haixialu Section － Chongqingbei Station － Chongqing Library) of Loop Line.

The operation time of the line is 6:30-22:30, with a minimum interval of 3 minutes. The line will connect Jiangbei District, Shapingba District, Jiulongpo District, Nan’an District, Liangjiang New District and High-tech Zone.

On December 28, the self-service ticket machine in Xiejiawan Station of Loop Line was placed.

Standing outside the Xiejiawan Station of Loop Line, you can see the running trains of Monorail Line 2.
