CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- In less than a month, China will usher in the year of Gengzi. “Gengzi Rat” not only means the beginning of the day, but also the beginning of an annual ring in the 12 Chinese zodiac. Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum also officially launched a reserved exhibition, the new year series of mice to welcome the New Year.

Entering the exhibition hall, you will see the story of “Wedding Ceremony of the Rat” displayed by splicing the red display board. The whole New Year exhibition will display more than 90 pieces of historical relics, including costumes, jade, statues, Thangka, New Year pictures, bronze mirrors, money, etc., through which we can show the beautiful expectations of the ancient people on “rats”.

“This is the third year for Chongqing Three Gorges Museum to launch the Spring Festival series exhibition, because the zodiac is closely related to each of us. The exhibition relies on folk exhibits, hoping to attract the general public to the museum for the New Year.” Ai Lulu, deputy research librarian of Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum introduced that.
