CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Recently, the 2nd Chongqing Tongliang Chinese Dragon Lantern Art Festival has been officially opened. The opening ceremony and lighting ceremony of a series of activities of China Dragon Lantern Association, such as Daily Fire Dragon Remit, were launched at the same time.

Tongliang Dragon Lantern Group has the features of atmospheric modeling, gorgeous color and lifelike image. In the performance of the opening ceremony, each 80-meter-long night light dragon lantern, carp dragon lantern, bench dragon lantern and other kinds of dragon lantern turns on the stage, and the party was very lively. The opening ceremony attracted many Chinese and foreign guests. At the same time, the famous performance of Tongliang Fire Dragon at home and abroad pushed the opening ceremony to the climax.

The festival will last for a long time. Every weekend from January 2 to January 25, and everyday from January 25 to February 8, a performance of “Daily Fire Dragon Festival” will be held in the Dragon Dance Square of Xuantian Lake in Tongliang and the Dragon Dance Square of Colorful Dreamlike Garden Scenic Area.

The layout of the 2nd Chongqing Tongliang Chinese Dragon Lantern Festival is divided into 7 thematic sections, including 6 sub-sections, including Xuantian Lake in the main exhibition area of the People’s Park and Anju Ancient City.

It is worth mentioning that the “non-heritage” folk culture performances on the stage of original hometown customs also started at the same time. In accordance with the “one town, one product” project with unique ideas, with 14 towns and streets as the unit, bringing together 14 dragon dance, dragon lantern programs and 30 folk comprehensive programs.
