At the same time, in order to improve the ride comfort of passengers, the internal facilities of a number of trains have also been optimized and upgraded. It’s more convenient to go to Bishan with increased trains

According to Chongqing Rail Transit Group, in order to meet the growing operational demand, Chongqing Rail Transit Group actively promotes the work of increasing the purchase of trains, continuously enhances the rail transit capacity, and improves the sense of happiness of citizens.

There are 11 new trains for Metro Line 1. At present, 9 new trains have been put into operation, and another 2 are under commissioning. The new car is a Type - B train with a width of 2.8m and a maximum capacity of 1,880 passengers. After the new car is put into use, the minimum departure interval of Line 1 is 3 minutes, and the departure ratio of large-scale (Xiaoshizi — Bishan) and small-scale (Xiaoshizi — Shuangbei) is increased to 2:1. That is to say, the number of direct trains to Bishan is increased, and it is more convenient for passengers to go to Bishan.

Line 2 is the first rail transit line in Chongqing, with increasing passenger flow. In order to improve the transport capacity of Line 2 and facilitate public travel, 7 new trains are planned for Line 2. At present, new trains purchase work is in the preliminary preparation.

Optimize facilities and improve travel comfort

In view of the internal quality of the trains, Chongqing Rail Transit Group has also optimized and upgraded the internal facilities of a number of trains to improve the comfort of passengers.

In addition to the LED information display at the end of the new car of line 1, the LED display has also been set for the trains of Loop Line, Line 4, Line 5 and Line 10 to facilitate passengers to view the station information. Other lines are promoting the addition of LED display at the vehicle end in an orderly manner.

In addition to the information display at the end of the car, the dynamic display above the door of the new trains of Line 1 is increased to 36.6 inches, which makes the information display clearer and the visual effect more beautiful. The new seats on trains of Line 1 adopt the dimple type design, which enhances the anti-skid performance. The armrest at both ends of the new seats on trains of Line 1 is changed from the wind shield to the lumbar support design, which makes the passengers more comfortable to stand on.
