LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Phoenix, capital of U.S. state of Arizona, held its 30th Chinese Culture and Cuisine Festival this weekend to celebrate the Year of the Rat and share Chinese culture with local residents.

The three-day event, kicked off at noon Friday, attracted thousands of participants enjoying entertainment activities such as dragon and lion dance, martial arts demonstration, folk dance, musical performance, Children's Pavilion games, Mahjong Booth, Chopstick Challenge, and more.

Visitors shopped at souvenir and arts and crafts booths, experiencing cultural performances and tasting scrumptious and authentic Chinese dishes.
