Wanzhou: paper-cuts for epidemic prevention and control

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Such paper-cuts as "Online New Year's Greetings" and "Cover Your Mouth and Nose When Sneezing" made by Luo Xiaocheng who is a party member and teacher from Wanzhou District, Chongqing Municipality, has been promoting the prevention and control of the epidemic.

Luo Xiaocheng is a party member and teacher from Sino-Canada Friendship Primary School, and also the fifth generation inheritor of the municipal intangible cultural heritage “Luo’s Paper-cuts’.

Since the outbreak of Novel coronavirus pneumonia, Luo Xiaocheng has always been paying attention to relevant news.

Luo Xiaocheng said that “I am a party member and teacher. I cannot go to the frontline to fight against the epidemic war, but I can do my best to make contribution to my country.” He plans to make some paper-cuts to attract more and more people to pay attention to epidemic prevention and control.

Since January 25, Luo Xiaocheng made paper-cuts at home. After more than a week, he has made six paper-cuts which contain all kinds of epidemic prevention and control signs, such as "Online New Year's Greetings", "Everyone Is Obliged to Cooperate in Inspection" and "Cover Your Nose and Mouth When Sneezing".

It is found that unlike other promotion paintings, each paper-cut portrayed the vivid Miao people in batik clothes and the Miao tiaras.
