“The epidemic outbreak coincided with the Spring Festival travel rush. Citizens responded to the call for travel reduction. The Public Transport also adjusted the shifts based on the passenger volume. Some buses were stopped, some drivers were on leave and I was one of them,” said Wang Hao. He volunteered for working, but he obeyed the Company’s unified arrangement finally and was on call at home.

During the waiting period, he saw the colleagues wearing masks and gloves to disinfect and clean the buses and measure passengers’ temperatures at bus stops… Gradually, Wang Hao was restless, so he recorded the stories of epidemic prevention and control work for buses with his pen.

Wang Hao said that he hoped the cartoons could let citizens know about the epidemic prevention and control work for buses and let passengers feel assured, “Everyone is making efforts. Hope we can overcome the epidemic as soon as possible and let the city return to its original state.” (Translated by Huang Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
