“Yukang Code” (Chongqing health code) mini-program QR code

CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- From now on, Chongqing citizens can apply for “Yukang Code” and enter communities, enterprises, hospitals, colleges, universities, long-distance bus stations, etc. with the code. In order to give full play to the role of big data intelligent products in the epidemic prevention and control, Chongqing Big Data Development Bureau together with the Politics and Law Committee of Chongqing Party Committee organized Tencent, Alibaba and other leading Internet enterprises to develop the Chongqing “Yukang Code” for free, and Chongqing citizens can apply for the code via WeChat or Alipay mini program.

Why to popularize “Yukang Code”?

According to Jing Genyuan, party member and deputy director general of Chongqing Big Data Development Bureau, Chongqing is in the critical period for the epidemic prevention and control now as more citizens return to the main urban districts and enterprises resume work. The active declaration, self-examination and passive examination of individual health conditions are important means of the epidemic prevention and control at present. However, the repeated collection, multi-party collection, un-unified data format and other problems during the screening not only increase the burden of primary-level workers, but also bring inconvenience to the citizens’ safe travel. The popularization of “Yukang Code” can also standardize the management of the epidemic prevention and control in key places and provide auxiliary decision basis for the personal health travel, enterprises’ resumption of work, beginning of term of colleges and universities, government management, etc. 

Who are the service objects of “Yukang Code”?

All personnel to and back to Chongqing, people live in Chongqing and accept the management of the local village (community), can apply online and offline, one code for one person. 

After obtaining the “Yukang Code”, citizens can show the “Yukang Code” with phone while getting in or out of residence communities (including office buildings), enterprises (including primary, secondary and tertiary industries), hospitals, colleges, universities, long-distance bus stations, road network checkpoints and other places throughout Chongqing. The staff will scan the code to enter the temperature measurement result into the “Yukang Code” to check if the temperature is normal, and then citizens can confirm the result via the “Yukang Code” mini program.

How to apply for the code?

In principle, all service objects shall apply for the “Yukang Code” online. You can search “重庆健康出行一码通” (Chongqing Health Travel All-purpose Code) or “渝康码” (Yukang Code) mini program at the WeChat or Alipay app, then open the page and fill in relevant information to obtain the personal “Yukang Code”. 

“As for the elderly, children and those who are not familiar with online operations or have no terminal device such as smart phone, the codes can be applied for online by their adult relatives living together. Those from Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and foreign countries can submit the personal identity information through the foreigner channel and bind the identity in the mini program, then apply for the code online after verification by the background program. Except for the above persons and those who cannot apply online, people can also report offline. The specific offline application method shall be implemented according to relevant requirements of local district or county,” said Jing Genyuan.

Where can you use the code?

The “Yukang Code” focuses on solving the management and control issues of communities and personnel resuming work. Therefore, it will be arranged in residence communities (including office buildings), enterprises (including primary, secondary and tertiary industries), hospitals, colleges, universities, long-distance bus stations, road network checkpoints and other places throughout Chongqing.

How to use “Yukang Code”?

After obtaining the “Yukang Code”, you can show the “Yukang Code” with your phone while getting in or out of the above places, and the staff will scan the code to enter the temperature measurement result into the “Yukang Code” (if the temperature is normal), and then citizens can confirm the result via the “Yukang Code” mini program.

When the code can be used?

The popularization and application and “Yukang Code” are divided into three stages. 

The first stage: citizens can apply for the “Yukang Code” from February 19; 

The second stage: from February 22, it will be popularized and arranged in some places for trial application and citizens can show the code to enter or exit; 

The third stage, the evidentiary materials and data related to the epidemic from communities, medical institutions, human resources, social security bureau and other departments will be integrated to popularize the application of resumption of work and production with the Code. 

Methods of applying for “Yukang Code” 

Method 1: You can log in the WeChat mini program “重庆健康出行一码通” (Chongqing Health Travel All-purpose Code), and apply for your exclusive health code “Yukang Code” via “self-application”, and pass through with the code. 

Method 2: You can search “渝康码” (Yukang Code) mini program via Alipay to enter the application page to make online application by yourself. After the automatic check of the system, you will obtain your “Yukang Code” and you can use the Code throughout Chongqing.
