CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), relevant authorities and experts conducted pre-feasibility study review on Jiangbei Airport T3B and Runway 4 by video conferencing.

According to the expert assessment conclusion, the project is designed to realize the passenger throughput of 80 million person-times and cargo throughput of 1.2 million tons. The main construction contents include a new runway with a length of 3,400 meters, T3B terminal with an area of 350,000 square meters, 125 parking spaces, 37,000 square meters of international cargo terminal, air traffic control, oil supply and other supporting facilities, with a total investment of 20.85 billion yuan.
