CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- According to the recent news from Chongqing Bayi Station Management Company of Chongqing City Transportation Development & Investment Group Co., Ltd., the Public Transport Hub at North Square of Chongqingbei Railway Station has been equipped with infrared automatic temperature detector to cope with the increasing passenger flow. If a passenger with abnormal temperature passes through the detection area, the system will automatically alarm.

The infrared automatic temperature detector is located in the platform 8 of the bus station, the on-site station staff together with the integrated law enforcement team of Chongqingbei Railway Station guide passengers to pass through the temperature detection area before they enter the station.

Temperature can be detected as soon as passengers pass through the detection area. If a passenger’s temperature exceeds 37.3ºC, the system will automatically alarm. The station staff will take quarantine measures and take the passenger’s temperature again. If the temperature of the passenger still exceeds 37.3ºC, the passenger will be guided to an isolation room or a designated quarantine area in strict accordance with the provisions to cooperate with relevant departments for the treatment. Meanwhile, the staff will also do the disinfection and cleaning of the temperature detection area and quarantine area.

According to the related person, compared with previous artificial temperature detection, the equipment greatly improves the accuracy and efficiency of passenger temperature detection and ensure quick temperature detection of passengers.

Besides, dedicated channels for groups returning to work were established at the Public Transport Hub at North Square of Chongqingbei Railway Station and entrance area of the railway station, the groups returning to work can enter the railway station directly to reduce the crowding.
