CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Shen Lin (pseudonym), a 91-year-old patient affected by the COVID-19, was discharged from Wuhan First Hospital on March 8. It was another case that a patient over 90 years old was cured in Wuhan by the Chongqing medical team.

“Thank you! I miss my family so much and can finally go back.” On March 8, in Wuhan First Hospital, Shen Lin, a 91-year-old patient affected by the COVID-19, thanked members of the 8th batch of medical team from Chongqing to support Wuhan.

Shen Lin was hospitalized on February 14 and was treated by the eighth batch of medical teams from Chongqing.

“Elderly patients are difficult to cure because of their age and basic diseases. This case is conducive to improving the confidence of the majority of medical staff and patients affected by the COVID-19,” said Zhou Fachun, director of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.
