China's Yunnan reports one imported COVID-19 case

KUNMING, March 16 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Yunnan Province reported one newly confirmed case of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) imported from Spain Sunday, the provincial health commission said Monday.
The patient, a 41-year-old male from the provincial capital of Kunming, visited family in Spain on Jan. 16, and flew back to China from Madrid via Brussels on March 11. He showed symptoms of fatigue and fever on Saturday and was confirmed to have been infected the next day.
An epidemiological investigation led to 54 people who had close contact with the patient, who were all put under quarantine.
The province reported no new indigenous infections on Sunday.
