In Chongqing, many people start their daily life with a bowl of noodles in the morning. According to statistics, Chongqing has more than 30,000 small noodles stores, nearly 100,000 employees and an annual turnover of more than 10 billion yuan. After the outbreak of the epidemic, all stores in the city actively responded to the call and closed down collectively.

A few days ago, the Chongqing Municipal Commercial Committee and the Chongqing Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau jointly issued the Guidelines for the Orderly Resumption of Business in Chongqing Catering Industry During the Epidemic of the COVOID-19 (novel coronavirus pneumonia) to promote the orderly resumption of business in the food and beverage industry including small noodles and hotpot.

Under this background, Chongqing Small Noodles Association, together with small noodle member enterprises such as Huashi Noodles with Peas and Meat Sauce, Yu Small Noodles, and Wai Small Noodles, made prevention and control safety commitment, to ensure that prevention and control measures in place, and ensure the quality without price increasing.

Small noodle enterprises have also promised to strictly implement the requirements of the guidelines for the resumption of operation in the catering industry and the Food Safety Law, strengthen the safety protection of production and operation site disinfection. Employees will wear masks, wash their hands and maker other safety protection, and the quality will be guaranteed without price increasing. At the same time, the number of people entering the store should be controlled reasonably. The dinners must be at least 1m apart. Customers must wear a mask, show Chongqing Health Code, measure their temperature, use WeChat or Alipay to order food, and promote non-contact takeout or self-collection.
