Some venues of Chongqing Olympic Sports Center reopen
CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On March 22, a reporter from Chongqing Daily saw in Chongqing Olympic Sports Center that there have been many citizens taking part in exercise. They were queuing up orderly to enter the stadium and enjoy the joy of sports.
“The temperature is 36.6℃. Now please show your Chongqing Health Code and register the information.” At 10 a.m. on that day, when the reporter came to the Badminton Stadium of the Olympic Sports Center, there were already dozens of citizens waiting in line to enter. The staff measured their temperature and checked their Chongqing Health Code at the same time.
Entering the Badminton Stadium, many people have been fighting in the stadium. “Affected by the epidemic, I haven’t played badminton for nearly three months. I miss it so much.” Wan Xiang, a citizen living nearby, told the reporter that after seeing the Badminton Stadium reopened in the Olympic Sports Center, he booked the venue as soon as possible and came here for a “ball" joy.
Thousands of citizens came to exercise last weekend after some venues at the Chongqing Olympic Sports Center were reopened. “In order to provide citizens with a safe and healthy training environment, we not only regularly disinfect the stadiums and storage closets, but also specially purchased three AEDs (automatic external defibrillators) to be placed outside the track and field stadium, badminton stadium, and swimming pool for the first aid.” (Translated by Luo Juan, Fathom Language Limited)
